About Me
Michelle Alise (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist and visual storyteller. Originally from Colorado, she studied drama in New York before pursuing her filmmaking masters degree in London. Although she misses the mountains, she feels at home in the UK and genuinely loves the British weather. She believes that art and performance are inherently political and enjoys working on projects that amplify queer, BIPOC, and other under-represented voices.
When not making cool stuff, she likes doing cool things like roller derby and playing Dungeons & Dragons.
Selected Works: LAST SHOW BEFORE WE DIE (The Yard Theatre, Bristol Old Vic), BHANGRA NATION* (Birmingham Rep), GUNTER (Edinburgh Fringe, The Royal Court), STRIPPED! (Vault Festival)
* Assistant Role
In addition to creative work, she can be found freelancing as a duty technician at the Arcola (Dalston) and The Yard (Hackney), as well as working crew on various get ins and outs across the city. For more information on her tech work, click here.
